WHO AM I?

My name is Ioannis Gauthier and I am the creator of IG Fitness Training.

Why am I doing this? The answer is simple, I want to help people. I would have loved to have someone guide me and show me the proper way to workout, get my results faster and keep me injury free. Think of me as your personal fitness guide.

I also love being creative and I believe that everyone can use a bit of creativity to forge their own fitness journey with their own personal goals.

I believe that fitness should be a holistic practice. Ultimately, we are trying to improve our health, so we need to eat well, get quality rest and sleep, manage our emotions and stress, get some sun and of course have a variety of physical exercises that will keep us active and strong.

Each of these is very important and should not be neglected. Everything I teach takes into consideration each pillar for maximum results.

I studied with ISSA, where I obtained my certification for personal training. I am also a certified specialist in fitness nutrition.
Further, working for my local gym, I have obtained an additional strength and conditioning certification with ATARAXIA. I am currently studying to become a Naturopath, which will help bring all of these concepts together with health!

I have 10+ years of serious experience with fitness. During this time, I experimented with A LOT of different training methods and learned something from each
one of them.

Currently, I do workouts that I enjoy and I stay in shape year round using the same strategies that I recommend to my clients. I still keep a healthy, active lifestyle and constantly try to learn new things. Because of this, I am now in the best shape of my life. My performance is constantly improving and I feel fantastic. I’m always finding new ways to improve myself and I enjoy every step of the process.

Now I want to help others because I know how much health and fitness can change someone’s life for the better. When people come to me and say : “I got the body I’ve always wanted”, “I’m much happier and in a good mood a lot more often!”, “More confident than I ever imagined”, “I feel great about myself”, “More energy! No more digestive issues and I threw away “X” pills!!”  This is why I do this and what motivates me to see how many lives we can improve here at IG Fitness Training!
